"More important than the curriculum is the question of the methods of teaching and the spirit in which the teaching is given." - Bertrand Russell Our classical curriculum includes the following: · Traditional English grammar · Outlining skills · Public speaking · Vocabulary · History · Spelling · Traditional mathematics · Science · Latin Our reading program is phonics-based. Phonics drill begins in Kindergarten and continues through second grade. In third grade, students begin reading literature selections chosen for their quality and enhancement of other areas of the curriculum. All grades incorporate regular Bible classes as part of their daily program, including weekly Bible memorization. Our instruction and practices are consistent with historic biblical Christianity, but not otherwise consciously restricted to any particular denomination or doctrinal viewpoint. We hope not to discriminate against a family's specific denominational or doctrinal beliefs as we teach the Bible and biblical truths to our students.
