Boxford Academy provides after-school sports offerings to students in kindergarten and the elementary grades. In the fall soccer is offered to all students in Kindergarten through fifth grade.  In the winter basketball is offered to all students in Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Students who participate in organized sports have the opportunity to learn about values that will assist them for the rest of their lives. Teamwork, determination, fair play, respect, and adherence to the rules are all part of what they gain. 

Whether a student has played or never played, the focus of our sports programs is to improve individual skills, not competition.   However, we do try to schedule games against other schools for the purpose of providing opportunities to compete in a structured game situation, while also being exposed to other school communities.

The Academy utilizes parent and community volunteers to provide these programs, presenting a great opportunity for parents to perform volunteer service to the school.
