Lunch time is designed to be a family time at Boxford Academy. Teachers and students eat together and have an informal time of talking and laughing.

Lunches are to be brought from home. We encourage parents and guardians to pack healthy, satisfying meals for students. Students may also bring a snack that is to be eaten during morning recess. We strongly discourage food items that are considered "sweets" and contain excessive amounts of sugar. Candy and soda are not allowed, even if they are part of a "Lunchables" packaged meal.

Treats are allowed on special occasions for class celebrations like birthdays and holiday parties.

For variety, we offer optional pizza on Wednesdays and spaghetti on Fridays. These are provided for an additional cost and are scheduled for most, but not all, of the weeks school is in session. Schedules are provided to families.
