Basic Student Rules of Boxford Academy
- Be kind and cooperative to teachers and other students.
- Be respectful and cooperative to the adults who visit or work at the school.
- Always say "please" and "thank you" when asking for and receiving things.
- Always respond to an adult with the proper "Yes, sir" or "Yes, ma'am", not "yeah" or the like. Always say "excuse me" when interrupting.
- Stand when a visitor enters your classroom.
- Don't groan, make faces, argue, complain or talk back to those in authority.
- Be quiet when you are supposed to be quiet.
- Do not hurt others by pushing, hitting, tripping intentionally, or such things. Do not hurt others by making fun of them, criticizing them, or saying mean or slanderous things about them.
- Do not leave other children out, or make them feel lonely.
- Dress as the dress code says.
- Do not swear or use any vulgar language.
- Do what you can to make Boxford Academy a kind and happy place for students and adults.
